I should be chosen because I have a vision that mixes documentary filmmaking with drama filmmaking, which brings something more authentic to drama, and something more artistic to documentary. I studied documentary filmmaking in Canada, and then I shot a feature Docu-Drama all by myself, with no budget, but complete freedom. It was a very good experience to do such a big project by myself, but I feel like I could learn from working with other people and getting advices from pros. My two passions are travelling and filmmaking, and I love to combine both. I have been thinking about travelling to South America this winter to make a road-trip movie, so this contest you are offering is totally something that I would LOVE to do; I even took a spanish class this summer! I would learn a lot, I am sure, and would make sure to use the knowledge that I would gain in this experience for my future projects.
