I have always been interested in photography since I first laid my eyes on my uncle’s camera when I was young. I was fascinated by how it can capture a person’s emotion in just one click and visibly preserve that memory for a lifetime. The main reason why photography got my interest is that it matches my personality. I like doing things fast for productivity reasons and I want to see its outcome instantly. Despite the fast pace, I make sure that I get to showcase the best of what a subject can project.

I am lucky to have multiple interests that compliment each other perfectly. I like going to unfamiliar places, meet new friends, discover their culture and look for an adventure. I have always been an outgoing person despite my guarded childhood. I guess being isolated as a child is one of the reasons why i developed this strong urge to travel and explore the world. And when I got my first taste of freedom by traveling with strangers, I felt like I was home away from home.

I cant say I take the best photos but I can assure you, I always try to bring out the best of my subjects at its pureness and beauty. I know I will learn much more if you let me join your adventure to Greenland.

As a child, I never responded to the question of what I want as a gift for special occasions. But I remember something that made me forget all the embarrassment I have in me, a camera. Ive had a realization on why I came to like photography. I am a visual person, I prefer to explain & describe things that way. I also appreciate beauty even when in disguise. When I project something, I want to see the result instantly & real-time without compromising quality. So if asked what object represents me, I say camera. But I never considered photography a profession for I see it as a hobby. Hobby because I dont associate it with money. Photography is my freedom from fear, pressure and expectation. I come from a very conservative family who measures success literally. Recently, I just had a breakthrough of getting their approval on my first paid project and it involved traveling which is a major issue for them. Traveling has always been an exciting mystery for me as freedom for a prisoner. The trip was life-changing which improved me in many indescribable ways. I believe I have a lot to discover and personally uncover that are worth sharing. So Id like to start by taking one photo at a time.
