I don`t have a diploma of photography or arts but there is the thing I really want to do in my life. I have a talent to see more than others and depict the important details, but due to the absence of photographic education I don`t have skills to make my pictures speak louder. I have dreamed about several days dedicated only to photography under the mentor of worldwide professionals, that`s why even being a newcomer in photography I dare to apply for this scholarship. Photography - is my passion and my inspiration is my occurrence: nature, faces, sounds, etc. I want to do more than I can, I want to go deeper into senses and essences of the images. It is ancient fortress that keeps its secrets to this day. The name of this historical monument is Lubart`s Castle or Lutsk Castle, that is situated in our home city Lutsk on the western part of Ukraine. It is very popular place among the tourists, so we were inspired by chance to share with international people this unique Fortress, its history and legends.Our Castle has a lot of legends and a short abstract of one of them was mentioned in the video, about the ghost of a girl Oksana, who was killed by soldiers of duke Lubart.We decided to build our story with the thing we`ve never done before: looking for the ghost in our Castle on the Halloween eve..Speaking about our experience, I was made some short films for fun with my friends with my camera Nikon D90. And Anna she has a little experience participating as an artist of small local theater.We really wish to get what is needed to make our films interesting to become strong presenters and be a part of a great film making team in New Orleans.
