Photos: My Scholarship entry - Venice for the locals

I am easily excited and I tend to find a positive view on things. Travel excites me and it has helped me grow. There is too much to see in the world and I lie awake at night thinking of how I am going to get the time and money to go experience all the places that I want to and meet all the amazing people along the way.

Venice is a magical city but like anywhere famous in Europe, tourists invade in force every year. I find it fun to track down locals and see how they have adapted to sharing their home town.

A 'place' I have visited

Ever since I picked up a camera 4 years ago, I have fallen in love with the possibilities of being able to show other's my world.
I am a young architect and I am inspired by the nature around me. New Zealand is where I have grown up and it has afforded me the opportunity to become enthralled with photography. I find that photography is a useful tool in not only helping others what I see but it also helps me focus my own views on the things that I come across.
I have thrown myself into photography and I am always striving to learn more and experience more to better enrich my life and my photographic work.

I feel that I would be the perfect candidate for the Greenland travel scholarship as I am willing and able to throw myself wholeheartedly into the country and the experience to get the most out of it.
