      <title>My Photo scholarship 2010 entry</title>
      <description>
I am non-professional but very passionate photographer from Bucharest, Romania. I always dreamed to become a National Geographic photographer, as I like a lot travel and documentary photography. All my vacations now are focused on places and people that I can photograph. :) (I traveled a lot in Romania, Western and Central Europe, Turkey, Sri Lanka pursuing this purpose).

In Romania, the opportunity to learn travel and documentary photography is very limited - that is why I am always searching for opportunities like this one. This would be a great chance to develop my skills and passion.

The story submitted for this opportunity is made in Istanbul in June. I strived to find not only the best places for smoking nargile (water-pipe) but also the places that they are producing them. I was lucky enough to find both and spend some days trying to get the photos that I wanted. I hope you can feel the atmosphere, the vibe and the mood of people enjoying tabacco from water-pipes in Istanbul.

Thank you,
Ionut</description>
