My hometown, my roots

I am a twenty year-old girl who is deeply passionate about exploring the world, taking photographs and filming all the extraordinary things that this planet offers. I am Italian, yet I am studying Journalism in an American University in Rome as my dreams' job is to become a photojournalist. I am really convinced that all my efforts one day, are going to give me the life that I am expecting, traveling all around the world. With this fantastic opportunity, I am sure that I could learn everything that your professional filmmaker Brian Rapsey has to teach me; in addition, I would explore the great country of Colombia - where the mix of all the different climates and the exceptional biodiversity create a breathtaking territory. <br/>I have been creating small films with my Mac since I was thirteen, and now that I am twenty I still have that feeling of pure joy when I show to people what I created, and it makes me intensely delighted. When they watch my videos they usually cry, or laugh, but they feel something and that is my main purpose: to make them feel something, which is, eventually, related to love.

Photos: My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I'm an eighteen years old girl and I'm from Italy; I'm at last year of school and I'd like to continue this photography passion after finished it. Photography is an important part of me, it's like something I have on the inside, from ever. Everywhere, I see a photograph and everything that captures my attention must be taken by my camera. I started loving it when I was young 'cause my father was a photographer, but then he stopped of being it and some years ago, I decided to continue it for him, and for the passion that photography binds us. When I take photos, when I venture into nature, on woods, on mountains, through the sea, I feel something that it's difficult to explain, but I really feel full of life, yes, because I know that it's exactly that thing that I want to do in my life. If I were taken into this Travel Photography Scholarship Application, I'd learn a lot and I'd start from now to realize my life dream, also because the second most important thing that I love to do is to travel.
