Photos: My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

Since I can remember, I've always loved photography. I'm looking for a chance to start taking photos for a living and become a pro. I'm currently a translator in Mexico and I think I'd make the most out of this scholarship because I have great technique, I like to travel, and I love to write as well. Thank you for this opportunity!

My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

I lived in Mozambique for a year and it was an amazing experience. I went there as a teacher and took every possible opportunity to capture every detail, every place and every experience with my camera. Both taking photographs and the feeling of adventure are things that I enjoy doing.

These photos tell a story about an unknown world, and show everyone what I saw there, the beauty and uniqueness of this forgotten country and also its innocence and sadness.

I am an engineer and a teacher who is crazy about photography as well. I spend most of my free time planning the next photo project and having fun while doing it. I have a great sense of adventure, love hiking and I even practice some extreme sports once in a while. I also like to do some writing and I actually wrote a book about my experiences during the year I spent in Mozambique.

I believe I am the right candidate for this scholarship since I know I will make the most out of it. I have traveled to other exotic countries such as Mozambique and Zimbabwe, I am a really good photographer and I also love to write and will love to keep a blog about this exciting journey!

Thank you for this opportunity!
