Photos: My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I wouldn't call myself an aspiring photographer; I am a girl who loves images, and I love to capture them. Outside my regular "function" as a producer at an events and advertising agency, I would call myself a story-teller, a writer. But I find that, for me, expression is not enough with words. People need to see, and I like seeing things.
Now, since what I have is the knack for story-telling and, hopefully, the eye for images, I hope to be chosen because Oman is a story to tell. I can imagine its colors and the side of this country that not too many people know. I am the kind who whips out her camera in the middle of action: while walking, in movement, while on a bike. I am always learning and a willing student, and with this opportunity with Jason Edwards and the National Geographic, I can take these words and images to certain heights. I dream of Oman being more than a marking on the map.
