Nancy of The Smiling Coast

My name is Maimuna Manneh and I am a Gambian who has been working in the media for about the past nine (9) years. I have a strong passion for film making and I’ve always been very eager to tell stories, even at a very early age. The best part of film making is that it grants me the opportunity to learn, at least one new thing, in every moment I capture.
I love to travel, because I am very much into cultural diversity and learning new things. I am also inspired to document numerous things the world has to offer. Besides, for me travelling is a strong form of education and a practical way to obtain knowledge and interacting with different cultures and traditions.
Having this opportunity to travel on a film making assignment will help me better interact with other members of a group. Through practical work and communication I tend to better receive and share what little interesting information available.
