This mantra is how I live my life, I love meeting new people and learning new things. I am passionate about expanding on what I already know to make and experience something amazing, which translates to my photography and travelling. I have backpacked around the world on and off for a total of 21 months and South America is where I rediscovered my passion for photography. I was in total awe of the beauty that surrounded me, I wanted to capture it to share with the world and I knew then I wanted to change my career path. On returning from my travels I looked into how to work for National Geographic as it is my dream to be a travel photographer. So I enrolled in a part time online photography degree (I work full time), I am on my 3rd module but I know and feel that I still have a really long way to go. National Geographic has always inspired me to look beyond the norm and explore different emotions and elations. I know this scholarship would be amazingly beneficial to me, it would enhance my life and my photography.
