My name is Anna. I am 19 years old and living in Copenhagen, Denmark.
I possess a sense of adventure that can never be fulfilled, and even though I live in a capital city, I never feel like I can get far away enough to explore completely new grounds. But every journey starts with a step, which is why I am planning on moving to London to enroll in a Photography BA course.
I want to take the kind of photographs that you never get bored of looking at; the kind of photos where you discover new things about it every time you look at it; and the kind you want to look at every day.
I want to see my photos in a photography magazine like National Geographic and know that I captured a moment special enough that it can be beautiful to others. I want the purpose of my photos to be to show people all of the wonderful places in the world, and to take them there with just a series of photographs.
If I win this scholarship, it would be the final nudge that I need to convince myself that travel photography is a real possibility for me, and not just a childish dream. It would help me to gain vital experience and to see firsthand how the true life of a travel photographer really is.
