I have studied photography in Lisbon at A.R.C.O and I have been taking photographs since I was 13 (when my father gave me his canon AE1). I enjoy exploring places known or unknown to me, be it a nearby neighbourhood or a different country. I try to see everything as if it was the first day of my life, because that way I can see more than most people. Wile in the streets I find it amusing to frame the picture, and then wait for the people to jump in and mess about. I usually don't interact with the subjects because I'm shy, but also because I want them acting as natural as possible. I believe I would benefit from this scholarship because although I take photographs every day, only on very rare occasions do I get feedback from experienced professionals. I have never entered a photography contest before because I don't like to think about my photography as a sport.
