My Photo scholarship 2010 entry: Mekong Mood

I am an amateur photographer trying to become expressive as a professional. My passion for photography started growing during the last 5 years, helped by my studies in Architecture. Last summer, after my graduation, I spent one month in South East Asia, visiting also Vietnam, its landscapes and its people.
With these photos I've tried to catch a fragment of the Mekong area. The people, there, live in simplicity between the everyday struggle and the peacefulness deriving from their wisdom. Getting in touch with them has been an incredible experience that, thanks to these photos, I'll always keep within my most important memories.
