Life is Beautiful

I have always been dreaming my whole life to travel to another country by air. This dream seemed almost impossible for me due to my environment and other bad circumstances. As a youth activist in Cameroon, i was privileged to be choosen by UNICEF in January 2012 to attend a training workshop on HIV awareness in Nairobi- Kenya. Wow?? man, i could not believe it, but it was actually for real. First, i had the opportunity to travel to our capital city ; Yaounde for the first time, and then to the airport and i finally entered the plane. It was a completely new but awesome experience for me. I was so excited, so happy and so overwhelmed. Shortly before our arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport in the morning, i saw the continuos flat land probably as part of the East African Rift Valley System, Lake victoria and the rich Savannah vegetation type , which was with shrubs and stunted trees.The people i saw were from the Luo, Kikuyu, Masai and other tribes across Kenya. Beautiful girls and handsome men with looks of hospitality were some of their traits. The enormous presence of Indians and whites precisely Britons cannot be overemphasized. Awesome indeed! . While in the city of Nairobi, i had the opportunity tour round the city with other participants. First, i learnt of the shopping molls , which i can describe as a big continuation of different stores and markets in the same building. For the first time, i entered electronic steps and a lifter , which took me to other stores.The view and the facilities in this place was amazing, and i had never seen such in my entire life, because in Cameroon and the area where i lived precisely, we don't have this kind of splendid buildings and amazing features which Nairobi has. I used to think that life was very cruel and insensitive. But my experience in Nairobi gave me a different touch and foretaste about the beauty of life. Life is beautiful
