Rainbow stairs

Sitting in an apartment of old time Jewish part Kazimierz, Jakub asked me with an open mouth, nodding his head from right to left: "You haven´t ever been to Kopiec Kraka?" True that after living in Kraków for 7 months I was quite sure that I know this town well. Until today.
It was early September, Indian summer at its best so you could still feel the power of carelessness fading away soon. Even a door locks symbolizing eternal love of hundreds mostly Polish couples were hanging on the bridge over a Wisla river and filling the air with an ease. Maybe it was due to star constellation that day but I trully felt some kind of magic in it.
Climbing that Krakus Mound which was visible from a far was just a small sacrifice comparing to what was waitting for us up there. Sun, wind leaving an aroma of freedom in your soul and view, such a 360º view of this charming City of Past Kings. Sweaty but happy. Can I be more fortunate?
I got my answer right after coming down from that artificial hill which looked to me more like an Aladdin hat.
"Let´s try this other way back now," I was insisting and still seeking for other new places, obviously driven by adrenaline of previous discovery. Going down the street, turning right here and left there, passing by an old, horror like house with funny graffiti on the wall. Noone would ever expect a simple stairs leading down behind that odd but majestic building. Simple by the shape but yet extraordinary. Each and every step was colored with a different color in a contrast with an inscriptions on it. Stairs you can read. AMAZING! Two steps down, one step up. Walking on it felt like dancing on a piano, playing the music of words. "Happiness is a journey, not a destination." What a great thought written on a red stair number 6. My inner child was fully awaken.
"And next time I will show you Zakrzówek." Jakub said smilingly. "Did you know they found some new caves there recently?"
Another adventure by discovering this (un)known city. I was feeling blessed for the rest of the day!
