I'm Mayur Jain from the beautiful country India. I'm studying engineering in Mumbai and photography is my favorite hobby. Started with a 2 MP cell phone camera and finally after a big request to my dad I got a digital camera after which I truly discovered the joy of photography and the happiness and sense of satisfaction when you get a good shot! I'm really an amateur, actually even less than that. I'm learning by experimenting with the modes in the camera and trying out various compositions. I just pick up the camera and start clicking things in and around the house and outside from my window. I go out of my way sometimes to get a good angle or to change the composition of the surrounding. Sometimes I get good results and sometimes I don't. I love Macro, Black and White and Selective Coloring photography. I reason why I should be chosen is that this would give me a great opportunity to actually go out and learn photography from someone as I never got to learn photography from someone nor attended any workshop.
