My Scholarship entry - Learning How to...

The thing with a country as vast as India, and a city as busy as Mumbai, is the scale of choices available to the individual. From tomatoes to tulle, the options are endless. I believe that somewhere in the midst of the mayhem of our fortune, we let our responsibility slip; our responsibility to make the most conscious decision for our needs - to be conscientious consumers.
With the kernel of this thought, and with the hope of making a film that can chart a dawdle into an inspiring, unfamiliar world, my friend Prarthna and I set out onto the streets of the city.
As a photographer and aspiring film-maker, she is infinitely inspired by the country, its people and its nuances.
As an actor and presenter, I am inspired by the drama behind those nuances - their history, their narratives, their visions.
We have India at our feet, but oh, what foot-steps we could make if we got to unearth that decadent lure of Brazil - to chronicle the chords that tie us all together.
