For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed taking photo's and capturing moments in time that would continue to live on long after the moment passes. In the past couple of years I have been trying to take it to the next level. I hope to continue to learn and capture those images that will stir up emotions and thought. And make the viewer say wow, whether for the artistic approach I have taken or for what is being captured itself, ideally both. I feel as though I should be chosen for this scholarship because I am very eager to learn and improve on the craft that i've grown to love. Before i came across this incredible opportunity I had never heard of Oman. After doing some research I feel as if it's a place that I could educate people on through my experiences and images. I have not done a lot of travelling outside of my province in Canada. My first time on a plane in 25 years was a trip I took to Brisbane, Australia last year.
