Tramping, mountain biking, running; basically anything that tests my ability. I'm a very active girl and am hoping to join the army later this year. Last year I won a scholarship to visit Antarctica as a part of Students On Ice, which is when I took these photos.<br/>Photography is a passion of mine. I can't afford any fancy cameras or equipment, but I just love being out there and taking photos of things I find beautiful. Visiting Antarctica was truly an incredible experience and just heightened my love for the outdoors and nature. It really opened my eyes and my mind to what is out there for us.<br/>I should be chosen for this scholarship because I think I have so much to offer. I am a happy and good willed person and I just want to be given the chance to express myself through photography.
