Photos: My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I’m am amateur photographer, I’ve dabbled with animal/nature photography and I’ve also had the wonderful opportunity to be a photographer at a family members wedding. I love the photographs as I see them as a window into a memory, I want to learn more about what my camera can do.

It’s nowhere big, but it’s an amazing place none the less. After watching We Bought a Zoo which was based on Dartmoor Zoo, I wanted to visit the real thing to see just how accurate the film was. Having been to several large zoos before (Paignton, London, New York Zoo) and two safaris’, I had some idea what to expect, yet what I found amazed me - the proximity between the inhabitants and humans was mere feet, I fell in love with the place.
