India Dreaming

I'm a digital nomad who's turned her passion for travel into a lifestyle. My love affair with travel became a long term commitment after my 5 months trip around India, Sri Lanka and Laos a couple of years back. Now part-time freelancer, full time traveller, I love discovering new places and capturing them on my camera. To me, photography is an extension of my travel experience, a way of expressing myself and the way I see the world.

Why should I be chosen? I believe that my photos can capture and express emotions, allowing the viewers to emerge themselves in my travel experience. I do realise I need to work on my technical skills and the scholarship would definitely allow me that, making me a better photographer and providing a better experience for those viewing my photos. To me, the point of a photograph is to share a sentiment, a feeling, allowing others to feel what I, or the photographed object, felt at that given moment. Acquiring a new, improved skill-set with a help of such a fantastic photographer as Jason Edwards, in a place as incredible and magical as the Peruvian Amazon would be a dream come true which would allow me just that.
