That's probably why I have found myself in this art of photography where I can quietly and comfortably communicate- express myself without fear of being misunderstood. I don't really like big changes either, but once I discover new horizons I get pretty adventurous. This is what I have become aware about myself recently thanks to my friend who literally pushed me to sign up for Work Away and make this trip to Portugal and I can't thank her enough for that, as it has opened a new horizon to me and a new goal in my life- to use photography as a documentary tool to sharing my seeing and feeling about this beautiful, yet so fragile world, which right now desperately needs the love and help of man. I first set my hands on a camera eight or nine years ago, and that was a Panasonic FZ 50. Soon I found myself truly enjoying taking images. Until recently it has only been a sheer hobby but it seems destiny is mixing fingers and I am already in Iceland, enjoying myself in this amazing country, more precisely taking photos of this incredible life and landscape, is more than I could have ever imagined. Winning this scholarship and spending time and learning with Jason would not just be a friendly push forward, but a life purpose defining moment.
