My Photos

I left the office where the interview had
been held. I accepted the job, no knowing for sure where that Patagonian town
in southern Argentina was located. It was called El Calafate and two weeks
later I arrived there, where I spent the following eight months. That town was
a breathtaking place full of energy, colours, nature and solitude.

Since I was a kid I have been interested in
everything attracting attention: the world, aesthetics, balance and contrast. I
started to travel three years ago visiting different countries and staying in
some cities for several months to live them from within, working, discovering,
moving, meeting people and knowing myself.
In each location the context fascinated me, whether the jungle in Costa Rica,
the snow-white mountains in Andorra, the narrow streets full of balconies of El
Raval in Barcelona. Light and people generate sceneries of constant movement,
changing, composing themselves, slowing down to the right instant to trigger,
either with camera or memory.

The East has always been my favourite
destination, even though for the time being I have not yet been able to travel
that far. Its history, its millenary traditions, spirituality and vision of the
world have always fascinated me. The moment I saw the “Bhutan Photo
Scholarship” ad I just couldn’t believe it. I felt surrounded by light: Bhutan
and photography! It seemed that you knew me and you were talking to me.

Now, once again in Buenos Aires, but
already planning my future destination, I dream of making out of photography
and travelling a means and my lifestyle. I am sure that moment is near and I
really believe that this opportunity would be The Opportunity to
further learning and improvement of my skills.

Thank you.

Saludos!
