Visiting Nepal has changed my perceptions towards life. I use Photography as my medium to explore people, their culture and the landscapes. For me, the process of photography is a conversation between my existence and the existence of the subject. I photograph instinctively whenever I feel connected to the subject. I believe those moments of conversation defines the purpose of my art and photographs are my attempts to convert those moments into a tangible form! In this process of image making, I constantly come across people who inspire me in their own subtle ways, enriching experiences and each one of them left me a better human being. As a way to show my gratitude, and also to celebrate those people and moments, I am making photographs. I would like to spend the rest of my life in search of more such moments. Having spent more than 10 years in studying literature, philosophy, painting and photography, I believe now I am ready to quit my job to become a full time photographer.
