Seasonal storms come and go, but here on the jurassic coast we are seeing the biggest landslips in recorded memory, if only i could tell a story with more than just 5 photos and an introduction...

Photos: My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Good Day Sir/Madam. I have been an avid photographer the last 10 years since the pioneering days of digital photography and an aspiring 'togger all my life.

About 6 years ago during my 15 year life in London as a civil Engineer I developed a passion for travel and I then became enamoured with the natural terrain and began to study landscapes in earnest.

I joined the British Army as a Reserve Solider and during my deployment I lived and trained in some of Britain's finest and harshest natural theatres. In my brief presentation you will see Dartmoor to the Isle of Skye and Dorset where I now live trying to readjust to a peaceful life.

I am only now beginning to capture images that I feel mildly content with and am most earnest to learn from both my experiences and surroundings but most importantly a mentor of some standing- still i see images that I must stop and stare at- if I could see the amphitheatre of Greenland and learn from a master and gain a new friend how could I be more content?

Many thanks for your time, pleasant regards. Luke Woods
