My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

Hello my name is Ludwing Ceron, I’m so pleased that I came across this scholarship competition, it sounds like an amazing opportunity to develop my photographic skills.
I was born in El Salvador and grew up in Brisbane Australia and Sacramento California, I’ve moved around a bit through out my life. I’m a first year Diploma Photography student with TAFE QLD (and a chef), I have been lucky that my job has allowed me to journey around the world where my passion for photography and travel has grown.

I feel I’m a worthy candidate for this scholarship; I’m up for the challenge and willing to give 100% of my time and dedication to further my photographic skills and learn new techniques from a professional photographer. I love to travel and get excited meeting new people and being in new situations, I enjoy learning about different culture and different worlds, I’m respectful of all people and all walks of life, I don’t mind being out of my comfort zone I enjoy camping and trekking and live a very active lifestyle playing basketball and skateboarding.

I love photography and I’m passionate about capturing images that tell stories sharing with people, friends and family and seeing the interest and questions in their eyes. They are learning about a place, culture, tradition or event they may have never heard of before. Photography involves my life memories and is also a historical document of life. This makes me want to improve and further my knowledge in photography to take a better more unique image.

My goal is to be a Photo Journalist and live the life of adventure and open eyes to the beauty of our planet. This is a great opportunity and this experience would be a great way to develop my photographic vision and dream.

Thank you.
