Marble all over.

I've screamed inside. Le Palais Garnier (Opera de Paris). I wanted to cried every second of the visit. Sumptuous! Everything made in Paris is. I took pictures like a real tourist and thought that even the 4th day of rain couldn't change my enthusiasm. (note to self; Never go to Europe in Fall again. Even if it's cheaper. Never.)

Walking through all that gold, glass, fresco and marble stone (it's freaking all over!!) made me feel like a bourgeois of the 19th century wearing Nike shoes. Very lady like don't you think?

Those Nike took me for a walk into the Passage des Panoramas. I am in the Diagon Alley. Shops of all kind on each sides mostly old books with yellow pages and cafés. Plus a weird one with a 3d in krystal glass of a new born with wings. Rowling was here. The pictures says it all. The inside passage is cover with a roof and have marbles floors. Marble every where.

Vienne street and the magnificent Gauthier, la bourse and the Palais Royal. Inside courtyard and a vintage shop called Didier Ludot. The not so friendly Mr Ludot got all these vintage Chanel things and pearls and purses made of embroidery of every colors. Even though I had Parisfashionheaven in my hand, this cold french..weather (ha!) made me leave pronto! My Nike are not liked in the Couture world.

I'm thinking that i will pass on the Louvre. The glass pyramid didn't talk to me. I might regret it some day, but since my eyes are able to see, the town in herself is a piece of art, an historical living museum. To big and to expensive for me to see all the beauty in her with this time frame. (I'm starting to be romantic, I'll go on the lovers bridge later and sing Joe Dassin).

I take place in a art deco restaurant on St-Honoré called Le Royal, the french waiter is typical of what you think of. Pedantic and loud. The american food (why they serve only this stuff?!) I will die remembering the sweet potato and fish in Montmartre. One word. Butter.
I look around me. The world on the same bench seat. Italy, Germany, Canada, Brasil, Spain and Japan. All in our differences came visits the city of lights. Sharing an average meal with smiles of satisfaction.
