I've been moving a bit around Europe finally settling in the beautiful city of Barcelona, for the last couple of years. At the time of writing this I sadly do not even own a camera as I was robbed and all my photography gear has been taken from me. But not having a camera for the last 3 months thought me something very important about photography. I have realized that I do not need a camera to truly capture images. I suddenly realized that from doing photography from the time I was a child, I see thing differently. Even without the chance of capturing a picture I can still imagine how it would look like on my screen or the paper. This is the greatest gift I received from photography, seeing things in a different way. Noticing the details, the light and the colours around me. Because of this there is nothing more that I would like then to try and become a professional photographer and writer for some journal. I hope that my dream will come true, and that with a PhD in Philosophy I will still manage not to starve to death.
