My name is Eliza. I grew up in country NSW and have always had a passion for being outdoors and exploring the natural environment around me, whether it be in be out in a paddock on the farm or travelling abroad.
I love taking photos of my travels and adventures because of the ability of these images to provoke emotions and memories years later. That is what I hope to share with others through photography, not just images but memories and emotions.
Although I am a keen amateur photographer, I have not had any training, I simply love capturing places and moments. That is why I would love the opportunity to learn more about the technical aspects of photography. The experience this scholarship offers, to travel to Greenland and learn from an expert to improve my photography skills and knowledge is the opportunity of a lifetime. This would open the door to that ever illusive 'dream job' - travelling the world, taking photos and getting paid to do it!
