I began the journey thinking I want a career but in the process I discovered that it's a lifestyle. Sadly I haven’t been able to break into the photographic market and so I'm still stuck in a job that is unrelated to photography.  I'm applying, not for my strengths, but for my weaknesses. I realise that its a risk and if selected I am going to face many obsticles that most candidates would have overcome but I feel I would excel and all of my abilities would be spent on this project. I'm drawn to colours and patterns, and I have a compulsion for natural beauty and try capture true emotion in my images, and I hope these aspects will show. I worry that I'll lose photo opportunities because of inexperience or ignorance, but I wish to learn as much as I can and would love the opportunity for a mentor as many lessons are learnt through experience.
