Preparing, part 2

I'm preparing myself for my working trip to Colorado, in what is known in our company as the CoRetEx (Colorado Retail Experience). The idea is to give those who work at the ABC a bit of the taste of the American way of life. Of course it's not something you can really experience in less than a week, but it's a small taste and a nice one for that matter. We will be visiting lots of places and I'll try to post about the trip in my new travel blog Of all the places in the world...

I'll be colecting my new passport on Friday, since for the US we need to have one that is valid for at least 6 months while in the country. Why, I have no idea, but it's a completely weird one. Does it help in keeping people from going under?

Preparing

In two weeks time I'll be flying away to the US, for the CoRetEx (Colorado Retail Experience), a nice interesting experience offered by the bosses where I work (www.abc.nl). The idea is to make people experience the American way of life, the immensity of the country, and how people make business there. And to have some fun, of course!

So coming Friday I'll be getting my brand new passport at the City Hall, after an amazing five-day of waiting! When I hear how long it's been taking in Brazil, I just grown in relief... :-)
