Ecuador - Through My Eyes

I grew up within a large family of six children. I attend a local college and currently enrolled in their Paramedic program. My biggest passion in life is to help others who don't necessarily have the ability to help themselves. It wasn't until I travelled to Ecuador for a mission trip, did my passion for photography grow immensely. During my time there, I saw a lot of poverty stricken people, but also a people who had genuine love for one another. I heard many stories that made me cringe. I could see hurt in the children's eyes, but I could also see hope. Hope that one day their lives would change for the better. I want to be their hope. I really hope to be chosen for this amazing opportunity because of a yearning desire to bring home the Peruvian culture to my home town and country. I want to be able to show others around me how I saw Peru. Not just a country of poverty, but a country of beauty. If I am given the opportunity to travel to Peru with Jason Edwards, I can truly and honestly say he would not be disappointed.
