Right Well I decided to call Austin and make sure we have got the right dates etc.

I make my sign for him. Which reads “Where’s My Heavy Friend” (private joke ha!)

I set my alarm for 5am and went to bed early to go meet my little buddy at the airport. Thank god I woke up in the middle of the night and got Ozzys txt saying he was landing Friday NOT Thursday!! So I have turned off my alarm and slept in to 1ish.

Friday came and I could not sleep. Very excited to see Austin and I thought I wouldn’t hear my phone go off. So at 4am i decided to go down stairs and bug Simon while he was working. I went down there to find Dom and Simon playing stupid games. This soon woke me up and I was sitting there being bullied (as usual) for a few hours before my bus came to go to the airport. I hopped in and soon got talking to two little old men who were very sweet and gave me a chocolate var. haha! People are very random with their gifts! But I wasn’t complaining. I love chocolate! So after getting a txt from oz saying he had landed I wasn’t sure if I was gonna make it in time to watch him come through the doors. I stood there for a while watching everyone go by…when this bloody idiot was standing right behind me..when I looked around to see what he was doing. IT WAS OZZY WOZZY!!! Hahaha. Doh! I didn’t get to use my sign. We had a big hug and headed back the hostel. Im not sure who was more tired. Me or him! So we had something to eat and went back to my room, where we fell asleep through mid conversation! Haha!! Then we woke up and walked around the city for a while.

Austin first night here was wine and cheese night. We got ready and went down stairs with Elainey. I wore a shirt this and a waist belt this night and got wooed at. And I got a few nice txts!! Teehee! People were shocked to see me wear something other than black for a change! Personally I think I was the curly hair that made the difference! Thank god for Austin bring my GHD’s!! haha!

Me, Simon, Becky, Elainey and Austin all sat there drinking the free goon and all the sudden…Alan (a really cool Irish guy) got smacked in the face by some guy! The sound of his head hitting the floor made me skin cruel. So I got the hell out of there and called me Papa! I don’t like fights. I live a very sheltered life coz I don’t think I have ever seen a real live fight! Haha! So after being a little bit scared and going to see Alan with blood all over his face. I put are very painful smile on his face when I said he could wear my studded belt, which he’s obsessed about about!! Haha!

Then we all headed down to the Scubar which was surprisingly busy for a change. We had a few drinks in there and then headed back to the hostel for an early ( for me now ) start to Coogee Beach. We pretty much did nothing this day apart from eat the free BBQ and sunbathe. Then we headed back to the hostel and got ready for the power hour at the Gaff. Free drink for an hour. could it get any better! So we went there and the music was pants. I wasn’t impressed. Also I had freaks talk to me all night. But one in peculiar was a guy called Pete. He must have had three teeth in his head yuck! It got to the point where Simon had to push him away from me,coz he kept kissing my cheek! Ewwww!! I was nearly sick!! Haha! So now all I hear is. Where’s your boyfriend Pete! Ha! The night at the gaff wasn’t that good, so we went back early. Sunday we went to Bondi Beach another lush day! And did the same. Sunbathe. So nothing really to report there. Monday was a public holiday so me and oz got up earlyish and went to the harbor bridge and opera house,. Then me, Simon, Becky, Dom and Oz caught the ferry across to Manly beach and sunbathed there. Where I went in the …sea!! It took a lot of persuading. But I did it. Yayayay me!! Haha! When we caught the ferry home it was dark and the view of the city was very romantic. It was a perfect ending to a good day at the beach.

Monday night is killer pool so we all went down to the pub played pool ( I didn’t) and had a few to drink and went back. Today me and oz are gonna get a few things sorted and then who knows what we will do.

Any way nothing else to report. Im still jobless. But im not worried…yet!!

Dodging Bullets!!!

The title of my new story is dodging bullets. Why? Because one sunny afternoon me and Joanne decided to go job hunting. After failing trebly we decided to get some post cards. We went in the shop. And seconds after we walked out the door there was a hold up!! Yup! Armed robbery!! We could of died I tell ya!! But it was most exciting…after Joanne begging me not to go ask the police what was going on. We went back to out safe neighborhood across the road hahaha!!

The last few weeks I haven’t really been doing much apart from going out on the free nights out with the hostel…getting drunk and being a spaz really!! I have been looking for a job but haven’t had any joy yet!! I thought I would wait a week or so to start looking again now because Austin is here tomorrow. Im very excited to see him,and show him around the hood!!

Oh yeh! Me and Elame are going to hell…there was a Korean girl in our room and we begged her to come out on the wine and cheese night. We sat there drinking and after one cup she said she felt a bit tipsy! We just thought bless. And dammit why cant I be that cheap!! Any way we went out to a club near us and she got soooooooooo drunk!! And when we carried her home she informed us that she had never had alcohol before…to our horror we made her stay in bed, and we went back out! Ha! When we came in ( this makes me laugh so much) she looked up from being sick and fell in the shower!! It was so funny!! I felt a bit sorry for her..but being a little drunk myself I could not stop laughing! Poor girl had a flight the next morning aswell. Oops! So me and Elame always joke about it and say we’re going to hell.

The other day I went to my first Sushi bar with Simon, it was most fun watching all the little dishes go around and having the chefs shout stuff out!! But I just sat there coz I don’t do fish!! Yuckie!! Then we went for a nice long walk along the harbor and it was such a nice day!! Very pretty! And I didn’t spend any money so that’s always a bonus!! Haha!

I went to go see the new arrival of the family baby Gabriela yesterday and shes sooooooo cute. You can see her in the pictures. Suzy and Adam have this massive grin on their faces. Their very proud. And so they should be….. She’s perfect!!

Any way not a lot to say really. Im so so excited to see Austin. And all the stuff he’s bringing for me!! Hahaha!!

Ok...So after updating this silly thing on Sunday. I Went Back To My Room where i became really really cold. went to bed and fell asleep and woke up feeling like a bus had hit me. Monday came and i actually thought i was gonna die..two people from my room helped me to the doctors which is 5 steps down the road. AND YUP!!! i had Tonsilitis and a chest infection! what fun fun fun!! so all this week i have been in bed feeling sorry for myself, crying down the phone to my mum and thinking of ways i could rip my tonsills out! its like the 8th time i have had it now!! boohoo!!! any way i have had some good drugs,coz im all better now! going to watch hairspray tonight with Nat and Jo CANT WAIT!!!! JOB HUNT..STARTS Monday Am.

Is there actually any point of me carrying this thing on…the only people that seem to actually read it is my mum and dad!! Haha! And I talk to them most days!!!

Right well I will tell you any way. The other week I quit my job! Was bored. No really I didn’t like working so much. I did come here to have some fun ya know!! And all I seem to do is work. So im trying to find a boring office job. Good money. In the city and I don’t have to work weekends!!

I actually was really scared of leaving this job. My boss was really scary! She upset me on Thursday by saying I wasn’t try my best coz I handed in my notice. That annoyed me,so I rang my mummy and told her I wanted to leave and put the keys under the door. So that night I locked up and done just that!! I wasn’t even gonna tell her I wasn’t coming back in. but I txted her. She didn’t txt back! Opps! Oh well!! I felt so naughty doing that! But im ok about it now!! Teehee!!

Last night I went out to an 80’s night with my friends Joanne and Natalie who I met in the hostel about 3 weeks ago. Before we went out I went round to check their place out. It’s really nice. We sat there watching grease and drinking goon. (Cheap wine)

We had spent all day looking for cheap 80’s outfits and we finally found some in K-mart of all places! Ha! When we arrived at the local “The Gaff” we found that we were actually the only ones dressed up! Great! Oh well we had fun any way! Well I say WE. I actually got so drunk I left after 30mins of being there! It was quite embarrassing coz a guy from my hostel had to put me in bed and everything!! Poor lad!! I dread to think what I looked like!! Haha! Austin will have all this to look forward to when he comes here! I think he’s pretty use to my drunken ways by now! I mean he has seen me at my worse!!...you dare say anything Austin!!

Today I feel like poo and haven’t been doing much but trying to remember if I done anything bad last night!! I don’t think I did!! My friend Dom just called me to tell me how drunk I was…!! This morning I said goodbye to two Korean girls that actually did my head in..and I let them know one night when I told them to shut the f*ck up! Haha! I did bite my tongue for a week before that though!! They did things like have their alarm go off every 5mins at 5am in the morning. Sit on the end of my bed and put their shoes on!! It was doing my blinking head in!! any way I said goodbye to them..and when they left 5mins later one of them walked in the door again and gave me a can of coke!! It was really sweet. I mean ok it’s a can of coke. I don’t even like the stuff. But it was just so nice of her to come running back and give me that!! I don’t know. Im a bit gay! But I thought it was cute!!

Right well nothing else to report…going to the job agencies tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Up's And Down's

Ok. So after having a really bad week…I felt home sick for the first real time (The time I cried in Bondi coz I was so cold doesn’t count!!! Hahaha) everything that could of gone wrong. Went wrong! Starting with me feeling like total crapola. I have a bad cold and cough!! I was late to work, I lost my bus pass, makeup broke, lost my jumper, boy pissed me off, I don’t have much money left and to top it all off…I went to a Japanese hair dresser (I will never be cheap again when it comes to my hair) right. Picture me with ginger roots and brownish/greenish ends! Yes! Really. It was that bad!! After walking around Sydney all day Sunday trying to find a hair dresser open, I was at braking point. Then I sat there on the bus and my very best friend Aimee txted me saying she missed me. That was it!! I cried! Yup! I cried on the bus looking like a ginger freak!! I was so upset!! But then thank the lord. I came across a hair dresser that was open. They spoke English. Check! So I went for it…. $330 later and I was happy again!! (And not going to be eating for the next 10 weeks) Although my hair isn’t quite what I wanted still…it’s not as bad as it was. Phew!!

Its Monday today and I’m really hoping for a better week.

In the city it looks as if there’s a war going on at the moment, they are having a thing called the Apex week on where all the world leaders are coming to Sydney! I have never seen so many police (not complaining. I do like men in uniform teehee) and helicopters. They also have these cage things up everywhere blocking the road off etc. it’s all a bit mad. And not to mention the protesters against G.B which I think is really funny. Might get up there with them!! The weather is getting warmer day by day...Im looking forward to the summer now sooo much!!

Ermmm nothing else to report really.

So I will let you know how I get on…yes everyone must feel sorry for me dammit!!

Its Been A While!!!

Heyyy.

Its been a while since I updated this thing hasn’t it…so sorry about that!!

Well there’s not much to say really….

The other weekend I went to the beach with a few people from my hostel and we had a huge BBQ I didn’t have much coz I was so hung over!! Hahaha!

Then I met up with my little Japanese friend Chika and we went back to the hostel and got ready for the Swedish night ahead. I, Jay, Dom and chika all had our faces painted with the Swedish flag!! We’re so cool.

Then we went down to side bar..which is. Get this. On the side of a building!

And we watched stupid people eat meat balls under a minute and do limbo!! I wasnt feeling in the mood to do either so I just watched! Ha!

The past few days I have been off work coz I have the flu…and plus is 27d outside!!

I didn’t come to Australia just to work..i know what all the guys at Fred’s are thinking now!! I DO work……sometimes!!! Im so lazy!! I have you know I do 11 hours on a Sunday!!

Don’t you think there should be a law on working on a Sunday!! I do!! It just isn’t right!! Why would anyone want to work!!

Yeh on my days off I haven’t been doing much. Went for a walk near Darling Harbor last night coz the weather was really nice and it reminds me of my now second home Singapore down there!! It’s so nice at night.

Then I took a long walk back to the hostel and I went to a stupid quiz night thing that my friend jay does (jay works at the hostel so he has to do all the gay things like this) but I am proud to say (even though I didn’t actually do anything but drink the free wine) our group won!! Yayayay! Go us! We won 15 free drinks!! Which I didn’t use that night,coz with all the drugs I have been taking for my illness and wine …don’t really mix to well.

I actually think I was a bit high!! But oh well. We went down to the pub (me being the only girl…I don’t know how I manage it!! = ) ) it was quite a funny night..with Dom and Jay betting that if they went away for half a minute that some guy would try it on with me. We had the bet on…$5……….. no matter what I said. They wouldn’t believe me that these guys weren’t trying it on at all. We were just talking!! Hahaha!! But yeh I lost quite a bit of money that night!!! Im not gonna pay them..im hoping they have forgotten today!!

Have no plans for the night ahead but im sure it will involve cheap wine and silly bets!! Haha! I will do my best to write more….not that anyone ever leaves me any comments anymore!!!! = p

My Sis Is Here!!!

My sister arrived in Sydney and it was so good to see her.

It was kinda odd too! we were half way across the world and meeting up!! Although i havnt seen her for nearly 5 months it didnt feel like that long at all!! any way i have been working while they have been looking around. i was very lucky to have two days off last week, thursday when we were gonna go on the pub crawl (is was cancelled) we still went out to our local "The Gaff" it was a really good night,coz we got a little drunk but no to much..well James got very drunk as he was doing shots all night with my Boss!! haha!

Then we decided to go the the Blue Moutains everyone i have told keeps saying in that the girl version on Brokeback Mountain (the film)!! sadly no it isnt!!! the views were really nice,but being so high up it was freeeezing!!! we had to cliam these giant steps all the way down and it was really steep! Danihad some trouble going across some of them..beigh the pussy that she is!! haha! then we walked to the steepest rain in the world. it was so much fun! Danielle didnt think i was fun at all. After the Mountains we went into the town near by and had chips on our minds,so we went and stuffed our faces..they were no way near as good as Felixstowe's chips though!! haha!!!

After that i went back home to get dressed and head to Base to sell my Route 69 tickets!! as i waled through the city i soon realised it wasnt such a good idea to walk around with 69 all over my T-shirt!! i had a few freaks shout at me! ha!

We all got together including the oldies (dani and james)and jumped on the party bus!! this pub crawl wasnt as good as the others. the crowd was alot different and i was feeling so tired from staying up until 6am the other night!! but that didnt stop us from having a lugh and watching a great band in Bondi...danille and james nearly done the whole crawl with one more stop to go they left!! haha! but i went on and didnt get home until about 4am!!

any way not much else to say really. we have just been looking around...buying Ugg boots and pizza thats about it!!!

Route 69 Pub Crawl!!!

Like Omg!!! my first night of doing the route 69 pub crawl was Sooooo much fun! we all met up at base backpacker where i sell the tickets,then me and pablo took the troop down to the "Party Bus" we all hopped on and the fun started!! i made some really cool people from all over the world. 5 Scotish guys thought i looked like Cat Deely and at one point had half the bus chanting Deely Deely!!! I met a few girls from Birmingham and Leister Too! I will put pics up soon.i have to go to my cousins coz the Pc is gay here!! any the route 69 pub crawl was a great success with Me YES ME making the most money!! haha and my Boss said i was a "little star" personally i would say im a Massive star!! = p but hey..whatever!! Working 8 days a week and sometimes from 9am to 3am is having an effecr on my feet! One of my big toes nails have fallen off!! and i have the most blisters i have ever had in my whole entier life!! = ( but its all worth it for the money i guess!!

Me and Pablo have become good mates. he's like my little brother ( although he's like 6ft) always asking me stuff! which i keep telling him i dont know sh*t!!! which i dont!! And coz he's on my team with selling tickest he took me out for a huge pizza to say thankyou coz i made us lots of dosh!! which i gladly ate in 10mins!! No changes there then!!

My sister is arriving today in Sydney very excited and i cant wait to get her and Jamie on the Route 69!!! hahaha!! They will love it!!! the best thing is i dont have to work Friday or Saturday so i get to spend some bounding time with my sister!! haha!!

Fun Fun Fun!!!

Well. I GOT A JOB!!!!!!!!!! yay me!!

I had an interview on Monday for a clothes store called Funky Femme.Then i had a trail day Tuesday.

I have worked ever since!! last night i also had another job selling route 69 pub crule tickets. And the best part is...i get to go on the pub crawl freee!! I told 6 tickets last night. which im really proud of. A guy (Pablo) who is my partner in crime only sold one!! haha! i Rock!! so at last im earning some bucks!! so today i work 9am in the shop to 6pm. Then 6:30pm i work on this pub crawl. its going to be a very long day!! hahaha! but im looking forwrd to it. Im hoping i dont have to work friday!! ha!

havnt really been doing anything else apart from going on the arranged nights that the hostle short out. Last night we went to a pub/club called Side Bar. its only a 5mins walk down the road. Living in the city is great,coz its near everything!!

Oh! by the way..the reason i have my own travel blog thing is coz i wanted to tell my family what I thought of Australia. Hanna has been here before. so she already knows what its like. Also sadly Hanna is leaving on the 16th,so it will just be me. Leigh the flea!!. so i thought i would start fresh and write my own blog. makes sence to ME!!!

Right well its 7:45am and im off to catch the bus to work. oh! the joys of life!!

Night Out!!

Well last night we met some really cool Irish guys and we all decided to get drunk and head out to a place called Bondi Hotel...well its not a place called that. it pretty much is a hotel in Bondi!!

But before we went there we made a very strange friend called "Dave" he was the freakyest person i have ever met!! well and truely a geek!! not to be mean but he was!! he kept dancing on our table,doing very bad MJ moves and just doing what freaks do really!! it was quite funny really. he made me laugh so much!!

Any way after me and the Irish guys conviced Dave i was 16 and didnt like swearing etc to get him away from me ( why me...always me)he soon left and told the bar staff that i was under age!! they came over and didnt even have to ask..they just said we were mean..which we were! but hey he was odd. and why would you believe that! ok so i have a baby face but 16?? really?? yeh so...we made our way to Bondi Hotle which reminded me of a place at home..crap music,shoes sticking to the floor,even morrrrrrrrrre freaks and no matter what we did we always eneded up here!!

Cant quite put my finger on where is was at home it reminded me of though..can you!?!?!?!

After three slices of pizza and four Cinders we headed back to the hostle....it was a really cool night,and i thought i would share it with you.

Oh! i saw the Simpsons the other night and Homer had this pig and made a song up about it in the tune of spiderman..and i made a song up way before this movie about a bus that picks us up it goes like this (in the spiderman tune) " fraser bus,fraser bus,i wouldnt even give it a plus,always late, on the drag,makes me really really mad,fraser bus...here comes the fraser bus"....ok i just wanted to write that down so i remember it when im home!! yes! i know im gay!! get over it!!

First Night!!

ok! so the first night in Bondi Beach was a living hell...i was so god dam cold i could of cried!! and i could quite possibly cut ice with certain parts of my body!! in fact i tried...my toes cut right through ice!! haha! got you there didnt i!! any way with only a small sheet to cover my fat ass i thought i better get ready for the next night!! after this i felt a little bit home sick and wanted my mummy!! haha. but a phone call from rob,mum and dad lifted my spirts and got me out of my silliness!!! if thats even a word!!

so after two pairs of trousers,two t-shirts,two jumpers (thanx jonni) and two sheets over me i was nice and warm-ish!! haha. but i slept like a baby and feel alot better today!!

i decided to go into the city and sign up with adecco. so i did! ha! yeh so i walked around loads and looked at all the great things i could buy!! i did wish at this moment i was rich!! but no no im a poor bum! went back into bondi and made a friend in a shop called Tiv she was really cool and we gave eachother our numbers and said we would keep in contact! she is from cambridge!! i think we might being going to her mates house warming party on friday,so that will be cool to meet new people!!

i was very proud of myself today coz i brought a massive bag of pasta for only 62c..so that will keep me full for a few days i hope!! although i dont have anything to go on it,im sure it will be nice!! haha!!

right well not much else to report really. im trying my best to send you guys pics..but the pc im on is a big pile of gay!!

well since i have been here,i havnt really been doing much!!

I have moved into my cousin's cousin's house and have been here just over a week! loving the warm house and family feeling about it!

i have been to lots of places and handed out my Cv,i dont think getting a job is gonna be as easy as i first thought! but my hopes are high,im not coming home just yet,even if i have to live on the beach!!

done a few touristie things... like see the Sydney opera house (its not all that...its allot smaller then i thought)

I feel like its time to move and ruff it up! tomorrow which is sunday im moving to a hostle at Boni Beach! im really looking forward to going there,to make friends and experince the backpackers real life!! Time to eat less and do less shopping!! haha!

right well i will try get some pictures of where im staying and the beach! Bondi Beach is soooo nice!! all the surfer dudes are even nicer though!! teehee...i think i might have to eat less before i get on the beach though!!.........
