Windy beach

Long Hai beach! Yes, it means "Dragon Beach" (it’s only a name, no dragon there). The trip was organised by the people in my department and therefore, there wasn’t so many people sign up for the trip, about 80 students and luckily, I could sign up for free.

To Philadelphia

I'm visiting an uncle of mine who lives in Philadelphia for holidays (it's quite nice because I don't have to pay any penny for the visit). See, I spent Independence day here in Philadelphia and that's really meaningful to me. I went to visit Independence Hall, Independence visitor centre, the first post office in the U.S. and China town and other places in Philadelphia. Maybe on Sunday, my uncle will take me and his children to New York and Washington D.C., it means I can visit Central Park, the UN building. Wow, there must be a lot to see there... I really like it. But I have to go back to Orlando to start my job next week.

Mekong Delta

Mekong Delta trip! Wow! it's was great fun. Before starting off the trip, we had a game night because they wanted everyone to get to know with each other. It was a good chance to make more new friends. What surprised me was that almost the people there are from Malaysia and very few Vietnamese. At first, we interacted with each other in English but then we found out we had something very in common. You know what? Most of them could speak Cantonese so during the trip, we sometimes speak in English and sometimes in Cantonese with different accents!

And about the trip! Seeing the pictures, you can refer from that it was a successful trip. During the tour, we took a lot of means of transport to get to the destination: by bus, by boat and small boat as well as on foot. The activity I like most is trekking on the Coconut road (or Banana road, it's so dreadful but I can't remember the road's name). It made me feel as if I was walking in a jungle :). It took about 1 hour and 30 minutes to finish the road and then we arrived to some bamboo houses to enjoy honey tea. I did take a picture that I'm touching the honey bee. You know, the bee keeper asked me if I wanted to touch the bee and I replied "Why not". But come to think of it, I did pray so that they wouldn't sting me at that time.

Guess what... I have a chance to hold a real snake :0.

Besides, we enjoyed the sweet tropical fruits and listened to the lyrical nostalgic song which was performed by the local people there.
