Having purchased my first DSLR about 3 years ago, it opened up a bigger world for me for photography, more than just a point and shoot camera. It lets me see things the way they were meant to be seen. When I see an object, or a landscape, or a person that catches my eye, up comes the camera. A photo captures the moment through my eyes, it can never change. Reminds us of where we have been, what and who we have seen. I have travelled extensively. I’ve been to every continent except for south america and Antarctica. I love photography, ever since i developed my own photos in school 30 years ago. It has always been a love of mine. Money was my only restraint which stopped me from furthering my desire to continue with it. I hope being chosen for this scholarship will change that. Now, as im a more older, it allows me to focus on what i want to do in the future. To do this scholarship would allow me to increase my knowledge and skills on photography through a great photographer in Jason Edwards.
