My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I like taking pictures to preserves the memories and the moments since I was a teen. I've become obsessed after I received my first manual film camera for my 14th birthday. I’ve been learning to take better picture since then, hoping to be able to tell the stories through the pictures.

I respect those photographers who are able to present the moments, the feelings and the stories of their subjects through their photographs.

I believe the power of a picture can bring forward amazing effects to the viewers, acting a lost diary to some long lost memories, a token of remembrance of our love one, perhaps just a simple way for us to share our joy with others. I hold to the principle that a good photo only need minimal or no post processing at all.

I am looking to learn from the best, to be inspired and to aspire from the trip if I was to be chosen as winner.
