Seek Experiences - Diving in Maui

Filmmaking is everything to me. I am always in search of finding something new, unique and inspiring to film. I filmed this underwater diving video in Maui, Hawaii. It shows a magical view into a completely different world which is marvelously expressed through the camera.

I am a sophomore at the University of Oregon and have
had many different filmmaking experiences. Currently, I am a multimedia producer for the Daily Emerald which is a student run media corporation. I make two to three videos a week all with creative twists and turns. During the summer of 2013, I was a writer, director, cinematographer, and editor of an independent film for actor James Franco. Last summer, I also produced 17 short educational films for the City of Menlo Park. All of these experiences have made me even more passionate about filmmaking.

My absolute dream job is to travel around the world and make videos. I am very adventurous and always want to experience and learn something new. Winning this scholarship would show a small snapshot of what my dream job could be and it would be extremely meaningful to me. I know that with this scholarship I would be able to thrive and truly express my passion.
