Hello, my name is Laura Mills. I'm a 19 year old Irish student, living and studying in Brighton, UK. I'm a Music Business student, who can rarely be seen with a camera out of my hand, even in class. When I'm in term I work a couple of jobs to save every penny that I can, then as soon as we break I hit the road and spend every penny that I've made travelling. I guess that you could say that I'm a poor student but thanks to the experiences that I've had around the world, I would say that money has never been spent better.
Travel gives me something that can't I haven't been able to find anywhere else, 100% pure happiness. When I return from a trip I'm glowing for weeks, and that's not just from the tan that I may or may not have picked up (Irish skin can be temperamental). It's been a dream of mine to visit South America and experience it's incredible natural beauty ever since I read 'Journey to the River Sea' when I was 9 years old.
I don't have the money for fancy equipment right now, but maybe someday I will! I love photography, because I learn a new tip or technique every single day and having the opportunity to learn from Jason Edwards would be an honour like no other.
