Photos: ...and this one went to market

Lara Merrington is a freelance photographer, writer and curator from South Australia. She has exhibited in solo and group shows, photographed major Australian music festivals and bands whilst working in the visual arts for a number of galleries and museums. After living the last year in South America completing a number of artists residencies and fine-tuning an Argentinean slang to her Spanish; she finds her self in Berlin exploring a whole new world of art and culture. Although she has done a significant amount of travel, the opportunity to fine-tune her photographic skills and really put a meaning to the photos she takes by giving them a cohesive form under a professional, such as Jason, would be invaluable to her practice. Oman would be a a fantastic challenge and the strong cultural background and political history would provide for some incredible experiences - and resulting images, in a middle-eastern context, something Lara has yet to experience, but is fascinated and intrigued by.
