Photos: La Vita a La Distesa

I’m a compulsive water jumper, wannabe backup dancer, bread pudding connoisseur, and above all, an opportunity enthusiast. Who else would quit their state job at 24 to travel the world alone?

I don’t generally enter photos for “judgment”, but after losing most of the original files from a 13-month solo travel expedition to a burglar, I’m itching to experience a new adventure and share my experiences through a lens again.

My photography style can only be described as: “life’s random moments”. I believe in living unique experiences and capturing the small things that make those moments special.

I hope you enjoy what La Vita a La Distesa means to me. Translated, it means "Life at The Expanse". This is where I made my home for over a year of my life, living with an Italian family and learning to make wine.
