Always having limited time with a subject, I've learned to work quickly. Learning to see the scene worthy of publishing is the next step I want to take. Learning from the best would be a bonus! To test my travel photography skills; I went alone in 2011 to China & Vietnam. I resolved then to invest in better tools & keep improving. The travel has taught me to prepare then expect that everything could change. I befriend locals, be kind, be curious, be patient when necessary, & keep Cipro handy ;~) 2014 took me to Ghana, Israel, Jordan, Ecuador & Indonesia at Christmas. The sole purpose was to practice photography & intentionally build a portfolio. I love exploring & prefer undeveloped areas. Why only hike at home when there’s wilderness on another continent I’ve never seen? I also dove in three different oceans this year. An investment in underwater equipment is next up. I intend to become a professional travel and nature photographer. No one knows better how to reach that stage than someone who's doing it.
