I believe in the powerful role and responsibility photography has in society by telling visual stories that are strong enough to change people`s consciousness. I want to improve my photographic skills guided by someone who knows how to fulfil this duty to society properly and professionally. I hope to learn how to work by assignment in a new environment to become more aware of the practicalities involved behind the camera. I expect to learn how to strategically and creatively perform in the field with the camera to then make an articulated selection of images to build a story that can touch people`s senses. Working with Mr. Jason Edwards will help me find my personal style by mixing nature photography with documentary photography. I should be selected because I am able to rapidly build relationships with people which is important for taking good photographs. I am aware about the responsibility and complexity of using the camera as a medium to tell a story and I want to continue learning about it.
