I am a passionate hardworking person who strives to always accomplish my goals. I am going to Emily Carr University for photography, and I have realized through my years of schooling thus far, I have fallen in love with the nature around me. I love to use what natural environments I am in and to capture the people that inhabit that space. My photography consists mostly of portraits of people I know in places I have explored with them. I believe this trip will help open me up to photograph strangers in new places. I think that the bond created between myself as a photographer and the people in their environment as my subject will be stronger and more intimate. I would like that kind of atmosphere to come through in my photographs. As of now, I am interning at a Vancouver magazine (HUSH Magazine). This has proven to be a lot of fun, and it has taught me how to be proud and passionate of the images I make. Ultimately, I want to open my own business as creative/commercial photographer.
