My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I have been in the customer service industry for the past five years. However, my passion for photography grows more and more each day as I explore the amazing things I can capture through my camera. I like to take all kinds of pictures and I've enjoyed photographing a wide variety of things which takes me to places I've never been.

When I see things, I photographed them. Learning field photography is really my dream. I want to learn a different way of experiencing other people in a different parts of the world, what its like to work and experience with different cultures as well as the landscape.

Having a chance to go to Oman and be mentored by Nat Geo veteran and host of National Geographic Channel's Pure Photography series, Jason Edwards is what drives me to take a better shot.

I would really like to go anywhere in the world with my photography. Hoping to see my own photography in a different way, to look into action photography a little bit different and simply let those things that make photographs come out.

At the end of the day, I will leave the scholarship more aware of who I am as a person, and what I can contribute in photography.

Children need trees and there’s so much to learn from nature. One of the best ways to learn about nature and the environment is to plant a tree of your own and watch it grow.
