Fall Down to Winter

Hey Brian & Co,

Why should I win? Always such a daunting question when it comes to talking about yourself. I feel torn wether to go on about how great i am or to simply tell the most down to earth truth. Im going to go with option B.

Born and raised in Brisbane, Australia completing High School, moving on to a Diploma in Photoimaging and than set out to spend a few years abroad, including USA, Canada, Europe and the UK. Although this was such a great experience at the time I now crave more non-commercial life experiences.

I started my photography career in Music touring with international artists; once I was abroad I began to use my photography ability to work for travel magazines. Throughout these travels I kept picking at a passion in film and finally ended up doing something about it during my final destination Canada.

Since then I have been borderline crazy about my line of work, nothing seemed good enough anymore, I want to be more. I have spent months online studying film and have been taking any possible job i can get with one main objective - to get straight back abroad and make films. Nothing i have done or plan to do in the near future seems good enough, i crave constant education, travel, and a life full of cultural experience.

So to answer your question, I think i should win not because i'm the most experienced, but because I will never, ever constrain my ambition to be successful.

Hope to meet soon,

Joe
