Photos: My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Greetings. I'm Joel, born and raised in Puerto Rico. Right now I'm studying photography and graphic arts hoping to achieve my goals as a professional photographer and graphic artist. I've always been into documentaries and National Geographic, but I fell in love with photography when my aunt who used to work as a photographer gave me the chance to try it out. This would be a great opportunity and experience for me since I don't get to travel that much due to the lack of money and the fact that Puerto Rico is a small place with limits at every corner specially as a photographer. Traveling as a photographer has always been one of my greatest dreams and I know it requires a lot of money to be able to do such thing, but everything comes with time and right now I hope this is the time for a change.
