Travel to Costa Rica

We have started planning our trip for this December to Costa Rica. The trip will be with my wife and 3 boys, ages 14, 11 and 9. Of course, ziplining is in the plan.

We have booked direct flights from Boston (Dec 27 - Jan 3) to Liberia Airport on JetBlue. We now have to find a hotel. We are looking for something that has Costa Rican influence (not a Marriott). Unfortunately, this is the busiest time of the year and everything seems to be booked.
