Introduction

Hi i'm Jesse and over the next few weeks i will be travelling from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City in search for some of the best delicacies and tastes Vietnam has to offer. I will be trying things in places that tourists don't normally venture to in order to really get a taste of what vietnam has to offer. I have a love and a passion for Vietnamese and Asian cooking and nothing makes me too squeamish. I have planned to visit a snake village, a famous lady nicknamed Mrs. Duck (i wonder what her speciality dish is made of hmmm), find the best traditional 'pho', the best banh mi sandwich, the best Cao Lầu, taste a black tar looking pudding and basically eat anything that is on a stick, fresh and seafood.

I look forward to finding hidden vendors in small laneways and markets and following the locals to see what they eat. By the time this posts i will be on my way to the airport and i look forward to posting my first feast.
