My Travel Writing Scholarship 2011 entry - Responsible Travel

I was walking along a beach, by the sea. It was a hot day. The sun was burning down on my head. I was hot and tired. I was walking slowly…more and more slowly…I stop. I sat down on the sand. I looked at the sea and picked up some small stones from the beach, and threw them into the sea.

Sudenly I saw a crocodile comimng out of the sea. It was a big beast I have never seen. I shouted to get some rescue. Immediately there came a jeep of tourists who were touring the beach. The beast was frightened and got back into the water.

I think I will never venture near the sea any more.
