My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

Basically my two inspirations are brought together on this lifetime opportunity by World Nomads. Having grown up with a family heavily involved in the airline industry, I have been lucky enough to be able to travel to several places around the world which is a luxury not many enjoy growing up in Malaysia. This has been a real eye opener and I've always enjoyed observing different cultures and lifestyles. More importantly, It was not until two years ago that I picked up photography after being exposed to how I could captures these moments to be shared and remembered. I love the way how I looking back at the pictures that I've took gives me the sense of traveling there all over again. Ever since, I've always ensured that I held a camera everywhere I went to be able to capture the moments that are of significance not only to me but to create a warm welcoming feeling for others.
